The upcoming Labor Day Weekend brings three fantastic festivals jam-packed with fun for the whole family.
In downtown Scranton, “La Festa Italiana” will celebrate 40 years of Italian food, music, and culture from September 4th-7th. This famous festival will feature 80 vendors with mouth-watering Italian foods and continuous live entertainment around Courthouse Square, including the Wayne Bank Stage on Adams Avenue at Spruce Street.
Celebrating 21 years of garlicky goodness, the “Pocono Garlic Festival” will return to Shawnee Mountain in East Stroudsburg from September 5th-6th. This garlic themed event will showcase over 60 food and craft vendors in addition to live music, children’s activities, and exciting contests.
Also on September 5th, “Stroudfest” will take place in downtown Stroudsburg with over 150 vendors, live music, and fireworks. This fun event will also correlate with Stroudsburg’s “Bicentennial Celebration.”
Enjoy your long weekend with family and friends at one of these wonderful community festivals.
