Celebrate the traditions of fall this weekend at two of NEPA’s harvest themed events.
From October 10th-11th, the Greater Honesdale Partnership’s “Harvest & Heritage Days” will return to historic downtown Honesdale. With nonstop fun for the whole weekend, this beloved event will include craft vendors, hayrides, Pets on Pawrade, children’s activities, the Soup ‘R Chili Taste-Off, and the merchant scarecrow contest including Wayne Bank’s own Steam Train Wayne scarecrow.
Also from October 10th–11th, Quiet Valley Living Historical Farm will celebrate their “41st Annual Harvest Festival” in Stroudsburg. Featuring traditional skill and craft demonstrations, folk entertainment, children’s activities, country food, and the popular Civil War Encampment portraying the drill of 19th century soldiers by the 142nd Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, Co, this festival is not to be missed.
