Wayne Bank Will Help the Community Grow at Stamford Flag Day Parade

Stamford, NY – On Thursday, June 14, the annual Flag Day Parade will return to Stamford, NY. The parade will begin at 6 p.m. and travel down Main Street with an exciting assortment of high school marching bands, area schools, and floats from local businesses and organizations.

Wayne Bank will have a fantastic flower and garden themed float with bank employees walking alongside to hand out candy and goodies to kids lined up along the street.

“The Flag Day Parade is a summer tradition in Stamford and our employees look forward to creating our float and participating every year,” stated Gerry Moore, Wayne Bank’s Stamford Community Office Manager. “It’s so wonderful to see the entire Stamford community come out for this parade and we love all of the positive attention that it brings to our area. We’re so excited to show everyone our garden themed float and how passionate Wayne Bank is about helping the community grow!”

The parade will line up at 5:15 in the Stamford Gym and Fitness parking lot and the Stamford Village Firehouse will have food available. Priscilla Little of Stamford will serve as Grand Marshall of this year’s parade. Her husband, Dick Little, who passed away last year, initiated the parade in 1974.
