Wayne Bank Hosts Scranton Pop-Up Library

Scranton, PA – Wayne Bank is proud to support the Scranton Public Library by hosting their new pop-up library at the Bank’s Central Scranton Community Office.

From 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., every other Tuesday of the month through September, the pop-up library will take up residence in the Bank’s lobby with a wagon full of books and DVDs. It will be open to the public and anyone visiting Wayne Bank will be welcome to rent items with a valid library card. The pop-up library will also allow patrons to sign up for a library card for instant access, as well as offer free books and informational flyers about the library’s book clubs, computer classes, and upcoming events.

“Wayne Bank is proud to support the Scranton Public Library and we are so pleased to be one of the locations to host their exciting new pop-up library,” stated Elaine Reuthe, Central Scranton Community Office Manager for Wayne Bank. “The library is such a wonderful resource for the local community and the pop-up library will help to make its wide range of programs and services more accessible.”

The idea behind the pop-up library is to make using the library’s resources more convenient. Patrons can return books, check their library accounts, sign up for activities, and receive help with digital devices.
