Wayne Bank Supports Honesdale Area Jaycees Canoe Classic

Honesdale, PA – On April 23, the popular Canoe Classic event will return to the Wayne County Fairgrounds. Hosted by the Honesdale Area Jaycees, the 9 mile race will end at the Fireman’s Field on the corner of White Mills Road and Route 6. Check-in will begin at 9 am, with the race scheduled to start promptly at 11 am.

The Canoe Classic entry fee is $15 per person in advance or $20 on race day, with canoe rentals available for an additional fee. All proceeds will benefit the Honesdale Area Jaycees, so that they can continue in their mission to organize events that bring the local community together.

The Honesdale Area Jaycees are a group of enthusiastic young people between the ages of 21 and 41 who provide personal development, leadership skills, and management training through volunteer events like the Canoe Classic.
