Wayne Bank Collects Toys For Kids in Pike County

Milford, PA – Wayne Bank’s Pike County Community Offices recently took part in the “Toys For Kids in Pike County & Tri-State” collection, sponsored by the Marine Corps League Tri-State Gung-Ho detachment #909.

The Bank’s Milford, Lords Valley, and Shohola Community Offices participated in the program, which took place from November 1 through December 7. Community members were encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys into the Bank’s three Pike County Community Offices, for distribution to local families in need during the holiday season.

“We are so pleased to participate in this wonderful program every year sponsored by our local Marine Corps League,” stated Mary Alice Petzinger, Wayne Bank’s Vice President. “Thanks to the generosity of our customers, community, and staff, we are thrilled to be able to donate three boxes full of toys to brighten the holidays for some of our local families.”

For several years, the Marine Corps League Gung-Ho detachment #909 has been helping families in need in Pike County, PA with gifts for Christmas. In 2016, the registration was expanded to families in Montauge, NJ and Port Jervis, NJ. The program is now known as Toys for Kids Pike County & Tri-State.
