Canoe Racing for a Cause with the Honesdale Jaycees

Honesdale, PA – The popular Wayne County Canoe Classic returns this year on April 24th at the Wayne County Fairgrounds. Check-in starts at 9:00am with the race starting promptly at 11:00am. The race is 9 miles and ends at the Fireman’s Field, the corner of White Mills Road and Rt. 6.

Wayne Bank is proud to be a sponsor of this year’s event, and hopes to see a great turnout for this annual tradition. The entry fee is $15 per person in advance or $20 on race day. All proceeds benefit the Honesdale Area Jaycees enabling them to continue organizing great community events like this one. Canoe rentals are available for an additional fee.
