Will a future Wimbledon champion hail from Waymart?

Waymart, PA – The Waymart Lions Club and Wayne Bank are working together to help improve that opportunity. The Waymart Lions Club and Waymart Borough have undertaken an initiative to improve the courts at the John W. Lozo Tennis Complex, and are seeking the support of local businesses and individuals to reach this goal.

On Tuesday, July 21st, Wayne Bank presented the Lions Club with a check for $2,000 to launch the fundraising. “Helping to improve the communities we live and work in is a core value of Wayne Bank,” commented Lewis J. Critelli, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wayne Bank. “The Waymart community office has served multiple generations of customers, dedicated to the prosperity of the people and businesses in town.”

Joe Henshaw, President of the Waymart Lions Club is leading the project, for the Lions Club, which once completed will be an update to the popular facilities. Joe is actively seeking contributions and stated “The Lions sincerely appreciate the support of businesses or individuals interested in making a monetary donation to the tennis court renovation project.
