North Penn Legal Services receives Villaume Foundation Grant

Honesdale, PA – The Board of The John and Helen Villaume Foundation has announced that North Penn Legal Services has been selected to receive one of the Foundation’s 2015 community grant awards.

Victoria A. Coyle, Esq., Executive Director, on behalf of North Penn Legal Services, received a check in the amount of $5,000.00 from Villaume Foundation board member Jon E. Villaume.

North Penn Legal Services provides legal representation to low income persons, for civil matters only, in an effort to facilitate equal access for all individuals. North Penn Legal Services is a regional, not for profit provider of legal aid and offers assistance with civil matters including Domestic Violence, Public Benefits, Family Law, Housing, Consumer Affairs and the like.

The John and Helen Villaume Foundation established by Honesdale natives John and Helen Villaume was created to benefit charitable, religious, scientific, literary and educational programs within Wayne County. Since its inception, the Foundation has made awards totaling over $1,000,000.00 with Wayne Bank managing the account in the Wealth Management and Trust Services Division of Wayne Bank.
