It has been a wonderful summer, and there is still much to enjoy in our region before the sun sets earlier. There are many events to partake, such as, the Harvest Moon Gala on Sunday, September 12th at Woodloch Pines Resort which is hosted by the American Red Cross Wayne Pike Chapter. The Wayne County Builders Association is holding "The Home and Garden Festival" at Ladore Lodge in Waymart on September 11th and 12th with many vendors and special events to provide a full menu of entertainment. In addition, the Scarecrow Contest will be kicking off in Honesdale on September 28th which is a prelude to "Harvest and Heritage Days", a Greater Honesdale Partnership event being held on October 9th & 10th which is full of family entertainiment. Check with the local "chambers" for details regarding these events and many more. Wayne Bank is proud to sponsor many community events and "Helping the Community Grow!"
