eStatements are Available!

Wayne Bank is pleased to announce that eStatements are available for our customers who are registered and enrolled for Direct Link, online banking. All you need to do is log on to Direct Link and the eStatement enrollment will be seen. You can go through the information and decide which course of action will best suit your circumstances. It is a great idea to receive your statements online as it is one less piece of paper to file at home and is a greener way to provide your statement information to you because it is paperless. If you would like to ponder the option, you can decline, and you will be asked at a later time automatically through Direct Link if you would like to switch to eStatements. Of course, your name needs to be titled on the account in order for you to choose the paperless option of eStatements and Wayne Bank will need your email address for our files so that we can send you emails if you forget your password so you can reset it. Be sure to also read the terms and choose “accept” in order to be able to receive eStatements. To agree to the terms and conditions the Electronic Statement Delivery Disclosure link must be opened. Just go to Direct Link and log on or enroll if you are a first time user to access this great feature!

NOTICE OF CHANGES IN TEMPORARY FDIC INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR TRANSACTION ACCOUNTS

All funds in a "noninterest-bearing transaction account" are insured in full by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from December 31, 2010, through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to depositors under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.

The term "noninterest-bearing transaction account" includes a traditional checking account or demand deposit account on which the insured depository institution pays no interest. It also includes Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts ("IOLTAs").  It does not include other accounts, such as traditional checking or demand deposit accounts that may earn interest, NOW accounts, and money-market deposit accounts.

For more information about temporary FDIC insurance coverage of transaction accounts, visit www.fdic.gov.
